DEBATE COMPETITION

This is when, while I was in form 4, I participated in the English debate competition. "At district level, my school won second place and one of my school speakers won the title of" The Best Speaker. To be honest, I also represented my school in the same competition when I was in Form 5 and competed at district level. We did not succeed in securing a place in the competition during that year, however. But, ultimately, I could see how it sharpened me to speak in English without fear but with confidence to speak in that language after I represented my school in this competition.

TOKOH NILAM (ENGLISH)

When I was in high school, I also represented my school as a Tokoh Nilam in English. I was not the first person chosen for representation, but I was willingly interested in the competition for some reason. Only in two phases can I represent my school. Through this competition, because it allows us to write essays, talk individually and gave me a new experience that is beneficial to me in groups. This made it easier for me through the individual and community speaking stages when sitting for the MUET speaking test that took place. I will also get rid of the nervousness when I have been introduced to such a thing in advance, instead of feeling confident and impatient because I have a similar experience with the matter already.
